The Super Summer-Rama Drama Video Quiz

After a few requests from quiz customers, I've decided to turn my hand to a Summer quiz for all you Drama departments!

It was a lot of fun to put together, but I wanted to go beyond just the 'music side'. So, you get:

 A fully narrated video 40-minute quiz for KS3 and KS4, featuring rounds:

• "What's My Line?" - reversed musical lyrics.
• "Make Room for Costume!" -  costume images from plays and musicals
• "Positions Please!" - identify the stage position names.
• "You Gotta Role With It!" - identify the theatrical job titles.
• "And the Award Goes To..." - name the award statue (with clues!)
• "I Beg Your Bardon" - name the Shakespeare play from video clips.
• "Glitchy Disney" - name the musical / movie from the glitched up song.
• "Letters and Logos" - identify the play or musical from the image or font. 
• And... all the answers at the end!

PLUS:

- an unnarrated video, for all you quizmaster divas (like me!)

- question sheets - two sides of A4 for minimal printing.

- an answer sheet for you!

As a non-specialist, I wanted to get it road-tested by a drama teacher.... this is the lovely response I got!:

"I recently gave my musical theatre classes the Summer-Rama Drama Quiz, and it was an incredibly fun and engaging experience from start to finish.

The quiz featured a variety of creative and interactive rounds including: Reversed song lyrics, costume guessing, identifying stage positions, theatre industry roles, TV award shows, Shakespeare plays, Disney movies, and guessing shows by their logos. Each round offered something unique, catering to different strengths and areas of interest.

Personally, my favourite rounds were Guess the Shakespeare Play and Guess the Show by the Logo—both were challenging in a fun way and sparked great excitement. 

What stood out the most was how inclusive and accessible the whole quiz was. It was designed to be fun for students of all abilities, with a great balance between knowledge-based and visual rounds. It would also be great for a non-specialist to run as an emergency cover lesson.
